I am so beyond thankful to have been named a top 5 finalist for the community service initiative scholarship award”
The Contestant, TEDX Speaker Courtney Renee Miss Augusta 2023 said “So grateful to have been selected as a Community Service Initiative finalist for my work with foster youth. Today will be full of rehearsal in preparation for our preliminary competition tomorrow. I’m feeling content. Kansas, I’m ready.”

Miss Meadowlark said “started the day with moving in to @prattcc dorms and getting goodie bags from @smalltowncouture300 (I LOVE my mug!). Then went downtown to visit businesses on Main St., and stopped at the @vernonfilleyartmuseum for our Arrival Ceremony where I was recognized as a Community Service Initiative Finalist! After, we headed to rehearsals before breaking for a delicious dinner at @weareprmc, and then heading back to rehearsals for the rest of the night ”
The Reigning Queen Dodge City’s Ayanna Hensley Miss Kansas 2022 will crown her successor the winner in 16 Contestants as new Miss Kansas 2023 at the end of Grand Finale in Deniss Lesh Sports Arena on Saturday, June 10th starting at 7pm.

The Rule “If the delegate selected as Kansas’ Choice is also designated in the Top Eight by the judges’ scores, the next judges’ highest scoring delegate (#9) shall become a finalist.
