A year ago, I embarked on a journey that little did I know would change my life. For as long as I can remember I carried the dream of being able to walk on stage feeling my most confident self, showcasing the beautiful qualities that define a women; grace, intelligence, dedication, and commitment to their dream. For many years this dream lived inside of me, but it was held back by the fear that can too often keep us from showcasing the greatness we carry. It wasn’t until I stepped out and became determined to elude the thoughts and voices that told me “no”, that I was able to prove that with belief in yourself, hard work and determination you truly can accomplish anything. That is why it is my upmost desire for all to find their voice, their confidence, and their trust in the qualities that make them uniquely beautiful. Because dreams do come true!
This year has been unbelievable, a true dream. It is why I am forever thankful to all the people that have supported me throughout this journey, without you I would not have been able to take such confident steps. Thank you to my siblings Joyce, Brittney, Ayana, and Onixxjoe for your love and encouragement, and above all my parents Olga and Jose for supporting me and loving me as you have.
