Allison Chu CROWNS Kiana Yamat Miss Hawaii USA 2022

Miss Hawaii USA 2021 Allison Chu has just crowned the winner against 22 Contestants, Age 27, Honolulu’s Kiana Yamat Miss Hawaii USA 2022, at Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu on Saturday, February 19, 2022!!!

Kiana Yamat Miss Hawaii USA 2022 will represent her state Hawaii at the upcoming Miss USA 2022 Competition.

WINNER's Statement

I’m still in disbelief in being crowned your new Miss Hawaii USA last night. Mahalo to the judges for allowing me to share my heart and choosing me to represent our beautiful state at @missusa. To my @misshiusa director @aliciamichioka, I look forward to our year together and can’t wait for the journey ahead!

Throughout the pageant, I kept telling myself and others how grateful I was for this experience regardless of the results - I did what I came to do. I changed my lifestyle to improve my mental and physical health while making lifelong friends with my pageant sisters.

I am blessed to have been backed by a fantastic team and support system (it indeed took a village). I can’t wait to acknowledge every one of you in my next set of posts. We did it!
