The US Army Military Intelligence Officer takes Miss USA Crown Home, The Passport to Miss Universe Pageant in Mexico
The Grand Finale & Coronation of The 73RD Miss USA 2024 has just concluded On Air @ The CW Television enjoyed nationally with 51 Contestants delivering the best of their lifetime. The Selection Committee made of 8 Judges scored the highest mark to Miss Michigan USA, Alma Cooper against 50 Misses representing their states and crowned as Miss USA 2024 by the outgoing queen Savannah Gankiewicz, Miss USA 2023 today on Sunday, August 4, 2024 starting at 5PM PST in the Hollywood stage of the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California. The Coronation Show is hosted by Garcelle Beauvais and Keltie Knight with support from Morgan Romano and Patrick Starrr.
Queen Alma Cooper, Miss USA 2024 can also be termed Miss Universe United States 2024 who will head to Mexico to represent her country The America at The 73RD Miss Universe 2024 where Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua, Miss Universe 2023 will crown her successor as new Miss Universe 2024 at the end of Final Competition in November.
New Miss USA 2024, Queen Alma Cooper serves as a 2nd lieutenant and Military Intelligence Officer in the United States Army. After graduating in the top 5% of her class from Westpoint, she was awarded the opportunity to earn her Masters in Data Science at Stanford University as a Knight Hennessy Scholar.
Cooper is passionate about addressing food insecurity in our country, and globally. Her ultimate goal is to make healthy foods available to all people. Alma’s life motto is “Demand Excellence” which she inherited from her parents who forged a path toward their American Dream. She is honored to ask to serve as Miss USA.

I am grateful for this unique journey of being Miss USA for the past few months. My mission is to always uplift and empower the incredible women in this organization. I went into this wanting to connect with people from all over and I’m closing this chapter with new friends and memories to last a lifetime.
I wouldn’t have been able to do this without the support of my friends and family. Thank You for being my rock through it all. To Laylah Rose, Thank You for everything you have given me from the start of my journey! You have taken me under your wing and treated me with so much love and support.
