I have so many people who have been a part of my journey since it began, and I am so thankful for each of you!

Firstly, I have to give all the grace to God for making my dreams a reality. One of the greatest things I focused on, in not only my preparation for Miss Virginia Teen USA and Miss Teen USA but also in the last year as a whole, was growing closer to God and shining his light everywhere I go.

To my Mom and Dad, everything from the perfect gown to interview sessions in the late-night hours, you always make sure I have everything I need to be the best version of myself and hold my own when competing. Having you all as my parents makes me a true winner, and I hope you know how much you two mean to me.

Jorge, Annie, and Chris, you all helped me be my most confident and authentic self in the interview room, while also teaching me lessons that are going to be valuable for the rest of my life!

Kendra, my twin, best friend, coach, role model, that list could go on for days! Without your love, support, and guidance, I wouldn’t be the person I am or where I am today.

Kim and Jay, where do I begin with you two? You made Christina and I feel like true royalty every day and made our year so incredibly special! I don’t think words can express how much you both mean to me, and I know we will have a special bond forever!

Christina, I look up to you in so many ways, and I know God put you in my life for a reason this year! This journey would not have been the same without you.

To the next Miss Virginia Teen USA, as cliche as this may sound… buckle up because you are in for the ride of your life! Never turn down an opportunity or appearance, and get ready to make this year the best one yet! To every girl here, you are a winner for getting on this stage and being exactly who God made you. Reigning queen Alyssa Mawyer is also all set to crown her successor new queen, ending her reign.  Last year, Miss High School America 2019 and Broadway girl Alyssa Mawyer Miss Virginia Teen USA 2021 was crowned by Amya Caldwell at the Carpenter Theater in Richmond on Sat, July 17, 2021. She represented Virginia state at 39th Miss Teen USA 2021 pageant held at the Paradise Cover Theater of River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa on Sat, Nov 27, 2021 and Hawaii’s Kiʻilani Arruda crowned Breanna Myles as Teen USA Queen.
