India, Monday, 25 January 2021:India’s active caseload has fallen to 1.84 lakh (1,84,182) today. The share of Active Cases in the total Positive Cases has further shrunk to 1.73%.

A bulk of the active cases is contributed by merely two States. Kerala and Maharashtra alone account for more than 64.71% of the Total Active cases.

India’s total Active Caseload continues to manifest sustained downward movement. It has dropped to 1.85 lakh (1,85,662) today.

India’s present active caseload now consists of just 1.74% of India’s Total Positive Cases.

Today 1,548 new corona positive patients were identified and 2,168 patients were discharged / recovered after recovery.

Today a total of 18 corona patients died in Chhattisgarh, in which 5 Kovid-19 deaths and 13 Co-morbidity deaths were recorded.

The number of discharged / recovered patients after recovery in the state is 1,87,522 and the number of active patients is 19,221.

India has crossed another milestone in its fight against COVID-19. The national cumulative Positivity Rate has fallen under 8%. This trend has been sustained without a break for four days. The cumulative Positivity Rate is 7.94% now and is on a continuous decline.
