Fri, Jun 30, 2023 Hollywood and St. Julian's: The Reigning Queen Maxine Formosa Gruppetta Miss Universe Malta 2022 has just crowned her successor, The Winner against 24 Contestants, Miss Universe St. Julians @ellaportelli, Ella Ella Sophie Portelli as new Miss Universe Malta 2023 at the end of Grand finale in the pageant venue Hilton Malta, The 5-Star Hotel, at Portomaso Business Tower Building in St. Julian's today on Friday June 30th 2023 which started LIVE at 9pm CEST GMT+2 / 3pm ET.

Newly Crowned Ella Portelli Miss Universe Malta 2023 will represent her nation Malta with national flag at the upcoming 72ND Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador where the reigning Miss Universe 2022, R'Bonney Gabriel will crown her successor at the end of Grand Finale. New Queen Ella Portelli is the 15th entry to Class of Miss Universe 2023 and The First Maltese in the era of Dr. Anne JKN.

Miss Malta Universe 2023 @ellaportelli recently shared her special experience "Walking amongst survivors at the Look Good, Feel Good fashion show & charity event in aid of breast cancer awareness. Sharing the catwalk with these amazing women taught me so much about self love, confidence and to love life! An overall good vibe of women, supporting & embracing women. Sliema's Interior Designer Ella Portelli has Higher National Diploma in Design and Applied Arts and BA (Hons) in Spatial Design & Interior Architecture from MCAST, The Malta College of Arts, Science & Technology. She studied at St Martin's college.. who lives by her passions art and traveling. She is an advocate for the voiceless, specifically those who are affected by domestic violence and mental health 

She moved to London in 2018 to pursue and internship and had the pleasure of 
working as a design assistant for Juliette Byrne, a Chelsea based interior design studio. She also joined Satariano Design Concept as a Design Consultant which gave her the opportunity to express her creativity everyday with the fantastic clientele. This work experience has improved her brand knowledge and provided the opportunity to be involved in interior design projects from start to finish.

She is a community member with International Federation of Interior Designers / Architects.
