The medical minister congratulated Pratapgarh Hundred Percent vaccinate
Jaipur, 23 October. Pratapgarh has become such a district in the state where the first dose of corona vaccine has been administered to 100% people. Medical Minister Dr Raghu Sharma has congratulated the district residents, administration and medical workers for this effort.
The Medical Minister said that Pratapgarh district had been given a target to vaccinate 6 lakh 52 thousand 61 people above 18 years of age from the state level for COVID-19. In lieu of this, 6 lakh 52 thousand 869 people were given the first dose in the district on Saturday. In this way, the number of people who got the first and second doses in the district has now gone up to 9 lakh 71 thousand 841.
The Health Minister has congratulated the entire team of health department including Pratapgarh District Collector Shri Prakashchandra Sharma, Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr VD Meena. He said that the medical department has given its best during the pandemic.
The journey of vaccines started like this:-
On 16 January 2021, for the first time, the process of vaccinating the health worker / front line worker started. After this, on 1 March 2021, people above the age of 60 years were vaccinated. At the same time, vaccination of people above 45 years of age started on 1 April 2021. On 10 May 2021, mass vaccination of people above 18 years of age was started.
The team traveled by rain and boat
RCHO Dr Deepak Meena told that for the campaign, the medical department teams reached the inaccessible areas amidst the dangers and launched a vaccination campaign. He told that by walking in the rain and the river, the vaccination workers reached the people and vaccinated. With this, the team went door-to-door and vaccinated in inaccessible areas. Due to which the graph of success increased continuously. For this, he praised the courage of all the vaccination workers and officials.
