Meanwhile, agriculturist Bhikhu Sahu of Narrodhi village told the Chief Minister that the picture of the drain and the fate of the farmers has changed due to the treatment work done for the prevention of rain water in Narmada drain. Now even after the rains, there is a lot of water in the drain. Due to this, the farmers on the banks of the drain have started taking double-triple crop by lifting water from here.

Narmada Narva (Nalaor Drain)  originates from Koyalari village and reaches Narrodhi via Kuruva, Bhibhauri, Surajpura forest, Bidora. The total length of this drain is 13.7 km. Due to the treatment of this drain, which died after the rain, under the Narva Development Program, it has now started filling five to six feet of water even in the month of March. After the cultivation of paddy in Kharif, the farmers along the banks of the drain have started cultivating wheat, gram, lentils etc.

Mr. Bhikhu Sahu told that his eight-acre farm is adjacent to the drain in Narodhi village, in which he has sown wheat and gram after paddy cultivation. Due to the filling of water in the drain, now the wells and hand pumps of the villages also have enough water during the summer days. Rabi crops are now flourishing in the fields lying on the banks of the drain during the summer.

This Narmada Narva / drain has started bringing happiness in the lives of villagers and farmers.
