Ambikapur 21 March 2021: Under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, in the fourth installment, Rs 19 crore 62 lakh 94 thousand has been transferred to the bank account of 29 thousand 130 farmers of the district. In the virtual presence of Lok Sabha MP Shri Rahul Gandhi, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday organized a program through video conferencing at the residence office of Raipur, the fourth installment of the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojana, with one click from the computer, District Cooperative Banks of all the districts Transferred to the bank account of the farmers of the district by the District Cooperative Bank. Under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, 29 thousand 129 farmers of the district have so far been paid Rs 91 crore 84 lakh in 4 installments. The first installment of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Shri Rajiv Gandhi's martyrdom day was paid to 24 thousand 12 lakh, second installment 24 crore 11 lakh, third installment 23 crore 99 lakh and fourth installment 19 crore 62 lakh to 29 thousand 129 farmers . In the Kharif marketing year 2020-21, 1 lakh 81 thousand metric tonnes of paddy has been purchased in the district. There is a wave of happiness among the farmers due to the incentive amount under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana.
It is noteworthy that with a view to increase the production and productivity of major crops, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojana has been implemented in the state from May 21, 2020 to provide agricultural input assistance incentive amount to farmers. Similarly, to provide additional source of income to livestock owners, the Godhan Nyaya Yojana has been started from Hareli Parva to purchase cow dung.
