Today, beauty symbolizes much more than appearance. Unlike the past, society understands beauty as a whole. Beauty is someone’s personality, intelligence, values ​​and everything they contribute to the world and humanity which makes them beautiful.

Becoming Miss Universe has given me a platform to talk about relevant issues around the world, including gender-based violence and HIV awareness. This platform has given me a voice to impact, inspire and empower others through my life story. Becoming the 69th Miss Universe is confirmation to me that working for your goals and doing what you are passionate about is always the right way to go. Be true to yourself and everything will fall into place.

I strongly believe that one of the few ways to change your life in a blink of an eye is winning the title of Miss Universe. This is everything you have ever dreamed about and more.

I want my legacy as Miss Universe to be a message to humanity that we can all achieve great things if we allow ourselves to dream big!  If we are constant and strong within ourselves, we can also help others. I want to be a reminder that our collective voices and individuality matters and can make a difference. Our future is in each of our own hands. So take control of your life, assume your responsibilities, continue to dream big and work hard for what makes you feel successful and happy.
