In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, "Remembering the valiant son of Bharat Mata, the remarkable Chandra Shekhar Azad on his Jayanti. During the prime of his youth he immersed himself in freeing India from the clutches of imperialism. He was also a futuristic thinker, and dreamt of a strong and just India."

The Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupesh Badhel has paid tribute to freedom fighter fighter, intellectual and prominent social reformer Mr. Balgangadhar Tilak on the 100th death anniversary on August 1.
The Chief Minister has said that Mr. Tilak first raised the demand for complete Swaraj. He gave an inspirational declaration of 'Swaraj is my birthright'. This led to awareness among the people about the freedom of the country.
They sacrificed everything for India's Freedom,Their life was idol for all.
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has remembered Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Chandra Shekhar Azad on their birth anniversary.
