The Chief Minister has said that Mr. Tilak first raised the demand for Purna Swaraj. He made an inspiring announcement of 'Swaraj is my birthright'. Due to this, awareness about the independence of the country was communicated among the people. Due to the love and trust of the people towards him, he has been given the title of 'Lokmanya'. Raipur, 31 July 2021 Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has greeted the people of the state on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Munshi Premchand ji today, July 31. Recalling the contribution of Munshi Premchand (Shri Dhanpat Rai Srivastava) to literature, he said that the novel Samrat Munshi Premchand brought the sufferings of the common man into his literature. Most of his works are realistic depictions of the poverty and helplessness of the common man. He described communalism, corruption, zamindari, indebtedness, poverty, colonialism with great skill in his literature. Premchand was a sensitive writer who used simple, easy and common language and left a valuable literary legacy of his progressive ideas.
