Chief Minister inaugurates oxygen plant and dialysis facility in Bemetara district hospital
Announcement to provide CT scan facility to Bemetara
Raipur, 03 October 2021: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel gave a big gift of medical facility to the district on Sunday, on the second day of his stay at Bemetara. The Chief Minister inaugurated a dialysis facility in the district hospital premises besides inaugurating a 500 LPM capacity oxygen plant set up at a cost of one crore one lakh rupees. With this, the old demand for dialysis facility in Bemetara district hospital has been fulfilled. Oxygen will now be easily supplied to the critical patients requiring oxygen in the hospital. On this occasion, the Chief Minister allyso announced to install CT scan machine at District Hospital Bemetara.
A system has been prepared to supply pure oxygen directly to the wards at the rate of 500 liters per minute from this oxygen plant set up in Bemetara district hospital. A state-of-the-art vacuum pressure sew adsorption machine has been installed in this oxygen plant, which filters the unwanted gases present in the air and makes pure oxygen. A tank of storage capacity up to 3000 liters has also been installed here, so that the supply of oxygen is not interrupted. A noiseless power generator has also been installed for the smooth operation of the plant and management in case of electrical blockage in the oxygen plant.
Appreciating Lions Club Bemetara for providing dialysis unit to the district hospital, the Chief Minister said that Lions Club has set an excellent example of service. He said that earlier patients had to go to big cities like Delhi, Mumbai for the facility of dialysis, many people were deprived of these facilities. But now dialysis facility is available in the districts and even the poorest of the poor can take advantage of it.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said that the facility of oxygen plant, dialysis machine and CT scan will improve the treatment system in the hospital. He said that during the second wave of the corona pandemic, we have understood the importance of oxygen even better. In the global pandemic Covid-19, wherever there was a shortage of oxygen in Chhattisgarh, work was done to deliver oxygen quickly through 19 thousand 500 oxygen cylinders. On the other hand, Chhattisgarh also supplied oxygen to the states of Punjab, Rajasthan and South India including Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, which were facing oxygen shortage. The Chief Minister appreciated the contribution of doctors and other medical staff, social organizations and citizens, in the control of corona pandemic in Bemetara district. Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu, Agriculture Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey, Bemetara MLA Shri Ashish Chhabra and other dignitaries were present on this occasion.
