This journey has molded me for the greater good, and it was exactly what it needed to be! The highs, the lows, the blessings, the lessons, the setbacks and the comebacks. It took each and every situation I have encountered to bring me to where I am in this moment; for that, I am grateful!

Private Banker, first-time author, and climate change enthusiast Angel J. Her platform “There is No Planet B” focuses on promoting conservation and preventing climate change. Cartwright aspires to increase the number of youth dedicated to conserving the natural resources of the planet. As a Conservation Ambassador, she hosts interactive presentations that teach students about the devastating effects of climate change and the ways in which The Bahamas can become more environmentally focused.
Cartwright continues to shatter glass ceilings and break the stigma that women in pageantry cannot be both beautiful and intelligent. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management at age 20 and is the first Bahamian to complete a Dual Master of Science in Finance and an International MBA at Florida International University.

Angel will represent her nation The Commonwealth of The Bahamas at the 71ST Miss Universe 2022 Competition where India's Harnaaz Sandhu Miss Universe 2021 will crown her successor at the end of the Grand Finale in the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States on Sat, Jan 14, 2023.
Angel Cartwright works at her Social Platform "There's no Planet B." Promoting conservation and combating climate change. She is No stranger to pageantry, Angel is a former Miss Teen Bahamas International winning the title in 2013, and placing in the top 10 at the Miss Teen International pageant. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from the University of The Bahamas, along with a Dual Master's of Science in Finance with a focus on Investments and an International MBA from Florida International University. She is the definition of beauty and brains. An Island girl at heart, she has partnered with The Bahamas National Trust to raise awareness about our marine ecosystem, wildlife and nature conservation.
