Chhattisgarh Government has issued detailed guidelines to all Divisional Commissioners, Inspector General of Police, Collectors and Superintendents of Police regarding social, religious and other events for the control of Covid-19 infection in the state. In the direction issued by the General Administration Department, it has been said that in the context of control of infection of the new variant of the corona virus, the presence of more than 10 persons will be banned at weddings. There will be a ban on the presence of more people 10 persons at funerals. All other types of religious, social, political and other events will be completely banned.
Regarding religious and social festivals, appeals should be made to the religious leaders and community heads to encourage people to avoid mass gatherings at religious and social festivals and to conduct worship and other events in their respective homes personally. Adherence to the Isolation Protocol by Corona positive individuals should be checked periodically. It must be ensured that they do not use public congested facilities and ponds, so that the infection does not spread further.
