The Chief Justice inaugurated the first virtual court of the state online
Eighteen court rooms built in the new court building were also inaugurated.

The Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High Court, Honorable Justice PR Ramachandra Menon, inaugurated the first virtual court of the state at 11:00 am today and 18 court rooms built on the fourth and fifth floors of the new court building Raipur.
The event was presided over by Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra, Port Folio Judge, Raipur. Honorable Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava, Chairman of Computerization Committee was present as the special guest of the program.

The Chief Guest of the program, Honorable Justice PR Ramachandra Menon, said that online proceedings through virtual courts will save judges time for other court proceedings and it is convenient for common parties. The facility will be increased for all the judges, parties, advocates and visitors through the newly constructed court rooms.

Chief Video Mr. Menon inaugurated the new court room by unveiling an online lace-cut stone plaque in the dignified presence of Chhattisgarh High Court Judge Honorable Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra and Honorable Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava through video conferencing.

Registrar-in-charge Computerization Shahabuddin Qureshi gave detailed information regarding the online process of the virtual court through PPT which explained all the procedures including issuing online challan summons and depositing the amount.

Justice Manindra Mohan Srivastava said that wide awareness should be given regarding virtual courts.

Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra explained the need for virtual courts and the importance of virtual courts and congratulated everyone for the inauguration of new court rooms.

District and Sessions Judge Shri Ram Kumar Tiwari congratulated and congratulated everyone on getting the gift of 18 new court rooms in the new court building. CJM Bhupendra Vasnikar of Raipur proposed the vote of thanks. The program was conducted by Judge Umesh Upadhyay, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority Raipur.

On this occasion, Collector and District Magistrate Raipur Dr. S. Bhartidasan, Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Yadav, Judges, Advocates Association President Ashish Soni and Secretary Mr. Kamlesh Pandey, Bar Association Officials and Members, Judicial Officers Employees, Advocates, Police and Administration Officer employees were present.
