Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has congratulated the people of the state, especially the peasant brothers, for the traditional Pola Tihar.

On this occasion, Mr. Baghel has wished the citizens happiness and prosperity.

In his greeting message, he has said that Pola Tihar is associated with the depths of Chhattisgarh's tradition, culture and folk life. In this festival, the bulls and Jat-pora are enthusiastically worshiped and pray for a good harvest and the house to be full of money and grain.

Pola Tihar / festival shows the importance of farming and livestock in our life.

CM Baghel said that this festival is also a good medium to introduce children to our culture and traditions. The pattern of homes is given to children to play by worshiping earthen bulls and utensils, in which children inadvertently join their soil and its concerns.

Seeing the outbreak of Kovid-19, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has appealed to the villagers and farmer brothers to apply masks and follow physical distancing during the celebrations of Pola Tihar.
