Raipur, September 05, 2021: Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has expressed deep grief over the death of two employees of SECL bus which fell into the drain in Mahan mine area of ​​Bhatgaon in Surajpur district today. He expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased.

                The Chief Minister took information about this incident over telephone from the Surajpur Collector and instructed the families of the deceased to get relief amount of Rs.15-15 lakh from SECL management within three days and one member each within ten days to get compassionate appointment. Huh. The Chief Minister has asked the management to ensure better treatment of the injured in this incident and also to get an assistance of Rs.25-25 thousand from the management as per rules.

                Surajpur District Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh said that as soon as the information about the incident was received, the district administration team reached the spot and rescued all the injured and rushed them to the hospital. In this incident, 19 people had minor injuries, who were discharged after treatment. 12 people have been referred to Apollo Hospital Bilaspur and 24 to Jeevan Jyoti Hospital Ambikapur. In which two people died. As per the directions of the Chief Minister, the management has been directed to provide necessary assistance to the next of kin of the deceased, while ensuring better treatment of all the injured.
