In seven months, 4 lakh 87 thousand patients were treated from mobile medical units

Raipur 9 June 2021 Under the Chief Minister's Urban Slum Health Scheme, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had launched mobile medical units with pathology test facility in 14 municipal corporations of the state on November 1, 2020, on the state foundation day. With the launch, this mobile medical unit is reaching the slum areas. Apart from checking the health of the nearby people through the camp, medicines are also being given to remove the disease. In the last seven months, more than four lakh 87 thousand patients were treated from mobile medical units, along with medicines and lab tests of needy patients were also done. The patients who come for treatment in their own ward, near their own home, reach the mobile medical unit bus under Mukhyamantri Shahari Slum Yojana and get the medicine after investigation within a few minutes. Patients are praising the Chief Minister Urban Slum Health Scheme for not wasting their money and precious time.


Treatment of more than 4 lakh 87 thousand in 9455 camps

After the launch of Mobile Medical Unit under Mukhyamantri Urban Slum Health Scheme by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on November 1, 2020, so far 9455 camps have been organized and 4 lakh 87 thousand 384 patients have been benefited by health check-up. In Raipur, 1 lakh 22 thousand 832 patients have been benefited in maximum 2552 camps. 50159 patients have been benefited in 1060 camps in Korba, 50180 in 682 camps in Bilaspur, 33800 in 687 camps in Durg and 32132 patients in 669 camps in Rajnandgaon. Similarly, 33202 in 515 camps in Bhilai, 18443 in 347 camps in Risali, 18027 in 339 camps in Bhilai Charoda, 25623 in 550 camps in Ambikapur, 26765 in 609 camps in Jagdalpur, 31592 in 603 camps in Raigad, 241 in Korea Chirmiri 16932 patients have been benefited in 308 camps at 10617, Birgaon.


28880 patients benefited in Dai-Didi Clinic

On November 19, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had launched a special mobile medical unit by the Urban Administration and Development Department, while inaugurating Dai-Didi clinics for three municipal corporations Raipur, Bilaspur and Bhilai Municipal Corporation. Dai-Didi clinics are getting good response in all the three municipal corporations. In the last seven months, 28880 women have been benefitted in 468 camps.
