Jagdalpur: Responsibility given to local self-help groups for necessary arrangements in tourism center Chitradhara

Under the guidance of Collector Shri Rajat Bansal, efforts were made to bring more recognition in the tourism sector of the district Panchayat Ransargipal's tourism center Chitradhara under the guidance of Collector Shri Rajat Bansal and increase their income by linking local self-help groups with tourism Are going For this, Jasmine self-help group Ransargipal has been appointed as ticket counter, Nunam self-help group Ransargipal has been given cleanliness and Jagriti self-help group Ransargipal is running the collective grocery shop. All groups have been assigned different responsibilities to guide the tourists to follow the rules related to cleanliness. All the groups will work under the guidance of Chitradhara Tourism Committee. Along with this, an effort will also be made to provide all the basic facilities to the tourists from the coming week and to arrange the necessary facilities for the tourists coming from outside in the future to their residence by the villagers. In this context, a meeting was held with the people's representatives and self-help groups of Gram Panchayat Ransargipal, Potanar and Tahakpal on 03 November 2020.
The Chitradhara waterfall of the area was banned by the district administration for the last few months due to Corona. As per the order of Collector Shri Bansal, from 01 November 2020 all tourist places have been opened for tours.
