The Chitrakote assembly by-election of Chhattisgarh was important for CM Bhupesh Baghel.
Rajan Benzam of Congress defeated Lachhuram Kashyap of BJP by 17862 votes on the famous waterfall Chitrakote Legislative Assembly seat.
In Chitrakote by-election, Rajman Benzam got 62097 votes and Lachhuram Kashyap got 44235 votes.
