Rajkot, January 25, 2020:  As a part of state level republic day celebration 2020, Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani dedicated and laid foundation stone of various development Project here in Rajkot today.  At the event jointly organized by Rajkot Urban Development Authority (RUDA), Rajkot City Police and PGVCL, CM dedicated and laid foundation stone of various development Projects worth Rs.565.76 cr. 
 On this occasion Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani said that the state level Republic Day has become a day of development festival for Rajkot. State government is dedicated to the holistic development of Rajkot city. CM said It has been the priority of state government that development projects have been initiated and executed within the stipulated time. The Chief Minister also said new Greenfield airport, new hospital building and new district court building project will accelerate the speed of  development. 
CM added that, Rajkot city has been equipped with CCTV cameras to prevent crime and arrest criminals quickly. Along with that , five new over bridge projects have been approved in Rajkot city at an estimated cost of Rs.250 crore to solve the city's traffic problem. The Chief Minister  also said that revenue generated from waste through the 'waste to energy' in Rajkot will be used for the development of the city.
At the event  Chief Minister flagged off the e-Vehicles of PGVCL as well as allotted scooty to the Durga Shakti  team of the police from social responsibility fund of  PGVCL.
On this occasion Smt. Anjaliben Rupani , MP Shri Mohanbhai Kundariya, Mayor Shri Binaben Acharya, Gujarat Municipal Finance Board Board Chairman Shri Dhanasukhabhai Bhanderi, MLA Shri Govindbhai Patel, Shri Lakhabhai sagathiya, Shri Arvind Raiyani, Police Commissioner Shri Manoj Agarwal, Collector Shri Remya Mohan, Rajkot Municipal Commissioner Shri Udit Agarwal, as well as local leaders and a large number of people remained present.

Gujarat News Rajkot 26 January 2020 -Governor Acharya Devvrataji, on the eve of the 7th Republic Day celebrations, was greeted by police bands singing melodious tunes of national anthem and a flurry of petals from the helicopters of the Indian Air Force.

Thousands flocked from patriotism to racetrack at the racecourse ground of Rajkot town, to enjoy the celebration of the main day of the Republic Day 26 January.

Along with Governor Acharya Devvrat Chief Minister of the state, Vijaybhai Rupani, saluted the flag of honor of a prosperous India. Then the Governor and the Chief Minister also inspected the parade in an open jeep.

Large mass of people watching the celebration of the Republic Day enjoyed the entire program from beginning to end.

It is worth mentioning here that in the wake of the revolutionary initiative of then Chief Minister and now popular Prime Minister Narendra Bhai Modi, the district headquarters of the state celebrated national ceremonies.

A large group of up to five students from nine schools of Rajkot had attracted and entertained the function by presenting the legacy of Indian Yoga tradition, cultural programs with the physical force of consciousness of the soul. In addition, yoga was performed by 4 students. The children of the funeral also performed the work of the pipeline band.

Six platoon members of the 8th platoon organized the parade under the leadership of IPS officer and parade commander Mr. Pravin Kumar. General Chat Chat Lounge Rajkotwas, fascinated by the dogs and the police, were haunted by women and male motorcyclists.

The Police Department organized cultural programs, rifle drill, hired motorcycle stunt show, judo, karate gymnastics, dog show, horse show.
 
8th Republic Day Festival: Rajkot

On this occasion, 8 tabs of various departments of the state government and educational institutes were presented, giving an overview of the state's development journey.

The Chief Minister honored the freedom fighters who were present at the celebration of the Republic Day. The Chief Minister greeted the people on the occasion of the Republic Day in an open jeep.

On this occasion, in the parade, platoon no-1 SRP male platoon no-1, platoon no-1, all Gujarat policewomen and thirdly platoon no-1 NSS. (Education) Women / Men were awarded the Running Trophy by the incoming Governor.

         While Tableau has the first rank of District Industries Center, Sports and Youth Cultural Division is ranked second and Agriculture Horticulture Department is ranked third.

        Shri Kundanben Patel, Tejasban Vasawa, Jaywant Singh Solanki and Jagdishbhai were honored by the Governor who performed best at the motorcycle stunt show.
