Appeal to vaccinate all eligible people

Uttar Bastar Kanker June 24, 2021 Collector Chandan Kumar today inspected the vaccination centers of Shahwara, Araud, Kurrubhant, Halba and Charama of Covid-19 vaccination center of Charama development block and took necessary instructions regarding vaccination. He appealed to all the eligible people of the district who have not got the vaccine of Kovid-19 so far, to get them vaccinated and said that it is completely safe. People should not be in doubt and must get the vaccine of Kovid-19, vaccination is the only way to prevent corona.

          At the time of inspection by the Collector, 35 people had been registered in vaccination center Shahwara, 30 each in Araud and Kurrubhant, 40 in Halba and 90 in Charama. Yuva Vikas Sahu, Tameshwar Surojia and Kumari Bhanupriya Sahu present in the vaccination center were questioned by the collector regarding the vaccination, on which they told that they have come to get the vaccine, the collector asked them He also asked his friends to motivate them to get vaccinated, as well as gave necessary directions to Kotwar. When Vikas Sahu and Tameshwar Surojia did not apply masks, the Collector gave them masks and also told them how to apply masks. Villagers Deodhar and Dhanesh Patel told that they have appeared for the second dose of vaccine, on which Collector Chandan Kumar praised them and asked them to motivate others to get the vaccine. During the inspection at the vaccination center in Halba, the sarpanch of the gram panchayat, Sanjay Kumar Uike, was encouraged to ensure 100% vaccination of the people of the gram panchayat. The Halba Chanki in-charge, who was present on the spot, told that both the doses of vaccine have been administered by all the employees of his staff. The Collector also made a surprise inspection of the vaccination center Charama and BMO Dr. Shankhwar and Chief Municipal Officer Mr. Nuruti were directed to get the vaccination done in each ward for vaccination.

              After the inspection of the said vaccination centers, Collector Mr. Chandan Kumar informed the Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. J.L. UiK, along with SDM Charama Nisha Netam Madavi and Tehsildar Divya Potai also inspected the selected site for Medical College Kanker near village Telgara and gave necessary directions to the SDM and Tehsildar. He also inspected the site marked for plantation in about 72 acres of land of village Chinauri.
