Bilaspur: Covid vaccination started for all people in the age group of 18 to 44, the collector took stock
Bilaspur, 8 May 2021 Covid vaccination of all categories of people in the age group of 18 to 44 years has started in the district from today. Five vaccination centers have been set up in the Bilaspur Municipal Corporation area for this. Collector Dr. Saransh Mittar visited the vaccination center set up at Tifra, the urban health center and reviewed the system.
The co-vaccine vaccine is being administered to all immunization centers in the age group of 18 to 44 years. The collector directed the vaccination officer of the center to clearly tell the people who had come to get the vaccine which vaccine they are getting and after one and a half months they have to come to this center to get another dose. He visited the register maintained at the center. He instructed the registration of vaccinators and registration of the vaccine being given in the same register. A target of 200 vaccines was given in this center. The collector gave instructions for targeted vaccination. Immunization officer said that vaccination was done at two places in this center, so that people do not get crowded and people should follow social distancing.
It is noteworthy that under the Municipal Corporation Bilaspur, five vaccination centers have been made for the age group of 18 to 44 years. To control the crowd, separate centers were created for Antyodaya card holders, BPL card holders and general category people, where vaccination was done on first come, first served basis. Vaccination centers at Pt Devakinandan Dixit Girls Higher Secondary School Tilaknagar for BPL Card holders, Government Girls Higher Secondary School Nutan Check for BPL Card holders and Barjesh Higher Secondary School, General Health Center, Hemunagar and Urban Health Center, Tifra for members of Antyodaya Cardholder family.
