10th board exam from 15th April and 12th board exam from 3rd May
Absent examinees will be allowed to appear in the special examination due to corona infection, lockdown, containment zone
Raipur, 06 April 2021: The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education has decided to conduct 10th and 12th board examinations in offline mode as per the scheduled time table, keeping in mind that the year of students is not wasted due to corona infection. The 10th board examinations will be held from April 15 to May 1 and the 12th board examinations will be conducted in offline mode from May 3 to May 24. Keeping the corona in mind, according to the decision taken by the board in student interest, students will be allowed to travel to the examination center on the basis of admission letter and duty order of the officers and employees of the examination centers. The board has decided that candidates who are absent in any subject or all subjects examination due to corona infection, lockdown, containment zone, etc., will be written in the absence of marks in their marks list. Such a student will not be given marks in those subjects but will be considered to pass in the pass category. Students whose marks are listed in the mark. Special examination will be conducted for them along with supplementary examination and based on the marks obtained in the special examination, marks will be issued in place of marks in their marklist and revised markslist will be issued and they will also be graded.
Secretary of the Board of Secondary Education informed that keeping in mind the social distancing, all the recognized schools have been made examination centers. In order to ensure adherence to social distancing from the entrance of the examination hall to the meeting arrangements of the students, 50 percent of the students have been instructed to be seated in that room as per the meeting capacity of the room. It will be mandatory for all students, teachers and other officers and staff of schools to wear masks. In addition to sanitizing the examination center, instructions have also been given to arrange to sanitize the hands of the officers, employees of the students, teachers and schools. The student suffering from Corona will not be allowed to appear in the examination under any circumstances.
