Bhopal: Tuesday, March 24, 2020, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan made a detailed review of measures to prevent the spread of corona virus in the state for the second day in the ministry here today. During the review, it was told that one case was found positive in Gwalior and one in Shivpuri. Taking this seriously, Shri Chauhan instructed to impose curfew in Shivpuri as well. He said that it is necessary to break the chain to prevent the spread of corona. Shri Chouhan said that its spread will have to be stopped at all costs due to local infection. He said that there is no need to panic. It can be controlled only with the cooperation of all.

The Chief Minister said that action should be taken against those spreading rumors and unscientific information regarding Corona. Instruct the staff working in the call center to give accurate information to the people. He has also urged the media to cooperate in the dissemination of scientific information among the people to prevent the spread of corona. He has also asked the staff available in private hospitals working in the field of medical services to cooperate. He said that the national parks, tourist areas and foreign guests who have returned after visiting, should conduct intensive investigation in those areas.

It was informed in the review meeting that Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Center has been declared as state level Kovid 19 Institute. A total of nine positive cases have been detected so far. These cases are in four districts. There is already curfew in Gwalior, Bhopal and Jabalpur. A total of 26 cases have been sent for investigation and 1920 is being monitored. In the districts where foreign nationals came, in the urban areas, door-to-door investigation and monitoring is being done. The Chief Minister directed to immediately separate such possible houses and areas so that no one living there would come in contact with anyone else. Ten distilleries have been asked to make sanitizers so that they are easily available locally.

According to the medical advice at the meeting, a gap of about one meter was kept in the seating arrangement of all the officers. Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, Director General of Police Shri Vivek Johri and Additional Chief Secretaries and Principal Secretaries of all concerned departments were present.

Bhopal: Tuesday, March 24, 2020, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has appealed to public representatives to put their full potential in ending the corona virus epidemic. Addressing public representatives in the assembly premises today, Mr. Chauhan said that curfew has been imposed in Bhopal and Jabalpur in view of the severity of corona virus and lockdown has been declared in 36 cities by the district administration concerned. Instructions have been given to all administrative officers of the state that all precautionary steps should be taken to prevent this infectious disease.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan while appreciating the public support received by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's appeal of 'Janata Curfew', appealed to the people that the only way to prevent corona disease is to break its link. The public representatives should assure that although there is a crisis, the government is fully capable of dealing with this worldwide crisis with public support. Completely follow the administration's lockdown order. Do not get out of homes unnecessarily. All necessary services for public convenience have been exempted from this.
