Ludhiana: As part of the efforts being made by the Punjab Government to deal with the Covid-19 Pandemic, Punjab Police has done exemplary work in Ludhiana. 

21 May 2020 As per the directions of DGP Punjab Sh. Dinkar Gupta, Ludhiana police has done several commendable works in addition to their duties which is as under:-

Ludhiana Police inaugurated a new building of Punjab Police located at
Jagatpuri PS Haibowal Distict, Ludhiana. Police Commissioner Ludhiana and Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana distributed T-Shirts to volunteers at Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana.

Sub Inspector Balwinder Singh SHO PS Ladhowal Ludhiana helped
Joginder Singh resident of village Rajapur PS Ladhowal, District Ludhiana
on the occasion of marriage of his daughter Manpreet Kaur with some
necessary marriage articles. Ludhiana police also distributed cooked food at
various places to needy people at Ludhiana.
Inspector Amarjit Singh SHO PS Division No-6 Ludhiana handover
missing purse to the owner Sandeep Kaur resident of Abdullapur Basti
Ludhiana. He traced the owner of missing purse by her Identity proof and
Inspector Joginder Singh Incharge Media Cell celebrated the birthday of
Manreet Grewal daughter of Mandeep Singh on 13.05.2020.

FARIDKOT POLICE DISTRIBUTES FRUITS, VEGETABLES AND MILK TO FORCE DEPLOYED ON COVID-19 DUTIES

Faridkot: As part of the efforts being made by the Punjab Government to deal with the Covid-19 Pandemic, Punjab Police has done exemplary work in Faridkot.

As per the directions of DGP Punjab Sh. Dinkar Gupta, Faridkot police has done several commendable works in addition to their duties which is as under:-

Faridkot Police has installed announcement system at banks, main bazaars
and public places in the vicinity of Faridkot, Kotkapura and Jaitu to protect the
public from the Covid-19 pandemic. Through this system announcements are being
made continuously to make the public aware during opening hours of banks,
markets and other public places.
 Faridkot Police distributed Fruits, vegetables and Milk to force deployed on
covid-19 duties and needy families. Inspector Jagbir Singh SHO posted at Sadiq
distributed Langer to 220 persons of slum dwellers twice a day regularly for the
last 54 days with the help of social activist
 Faridkot Police also educated the people about maintaining of social
distancing during the Curfew relaxation hours so that spread of Corona Virus could
be prevented. Police has also taken very strict action against the curfew violators.
The district administration has setup the 25 educational Institutes as Govt.
Quarantine Centre in the district.

TARAN-TARAN POLICE HELPS THE NEEDY PERSONS DURING THE COVID-19 PENDEMIC

Taran-Taran: As part of the efforts being made by the Punjab
Government to deal with the Covid-19 Pandemic, Punjab Police has
done exemplary work in Taran-Taran. As per the directions of DGP
Punjab Sh. Dinkar Gupta, Taran-Taran Police has done several
commendable works in addition to their duties which is as under:-
Team led by ASI Nirmal Singh received the information on
14.05.2020 that a 75 yrs poor old women living alone in a Dinewal
village, district Tarn-Taran. She didn’t have anything to eat and Punjab
Police felt that she urgently needed help. ASI Nirmal Singh’s team
immediately went to the place and served food and other necessary items
to her. Punjab Police advised her to call them at any time for their help.
Sub-Inspector Saab Singh and I/C PP Sur Singh received a call that
an accident has occurred near to Bhikhiwind. Sub-Inspector Saab
Singh’s team immediately went to the accident site and took the injured
person to the nearest hospital. When they came to know that the person
is carrying 81 thousand rupees with him while traveling. Sub-Inspector
Saab Singh returned the money to his family.

FAZILKA POLICE HELPS NEEDY WHILE PERFORMING THEIR DUTY TO MAINTAIN LAW AND ORDER

Fazilka: As part of the efforts being made by the Punjab Government to
deal with the Covid-19 Pandemic, Punjab Police has done exemplary
work in Fazilka. As per the directions of DGP Punjab Sh. Dinkar Gupta,
Fazilka Police has done several commendable works in addition to their
duties which is as under:-
Fazilka Police District Police has taken strict action against
curfew violators. In this regard, total 73 Challans have been issued for
violating the curfew norms in the District on 14-05-2020.
Scout Rovers and District Police help the needy while performing
their duty to maintain law and order. In wake of hot weather, Scout
Rovers with SHO City-2 Abohar hanged water pots on the trees so that
birds can quench their thirst.

S.B.S.NAGAR DISTRIBUTES PARLE-G BISCUITS TO CHILDREN RESIDING IN SLUM AREAS

S.B.S. Nagar: As part of the efforts being made by the Punjab
Government to deal with the Covid-19 Pandemic, Punjab Police has
done exemplary work in S.B.S.Nagar. As per the directions of DGP
Punjab Sh. Dinkar Gupta, S.B.S.Nagar police has done several
commendable works in addition to their duties which is as under:-
SBS Nagar Police ensured effective curfew implementation and
took measures that poor and needy persons are taken care of. Assistant
Sub Inspector Satwant Singh distributed face mask to laborers. He also
distributed Parle-G biscuits to children and create awareness among
children regarding the methods of prevention for Covid-19 and guide
them how to wash hands.
Constable Sukhwinder Singh and Constable Surjeet Kumar posted
at Nawanshahar distributed Parle-G biscuits to children residing in slum
areas.
SHO City Sub-Inspector Harpreet Singh posted at Banga registered
FIR against a person who was carrying three persons in his truck from
Himachal Pradesh. Deputy Superintendent of Police Jatinterjit Singh
posted at Balachaur motivated young volunteers who joined training
regarding duty at various quarantine Centre in Sub Division Balachaur.
