Raipur 30 July 2020 DGP DM Awasthi honored meritorious students of 10th and 12th class merit list at Police Headquarters here today. In the honor ceremony, 12th state topper Tikesh Vaishnav of Mungeli district said that he wants to do engineering with computer science from BITS Pilani. But their economic condition is very weak. Tikesh told that his father has a small shop from which it is not possible to collect the engineering fees. My father is concerned day and night for my fees. To this Mr. Awasthi said that your father need not worry about the fees. We will give you financial support for the fees. Move towards your goal and prepare to go to bits.
Addressing the students, he said that success is achieved only through struggle. Don't be disappointed if you don't get success. Life is like a marathon race in which there is defeat and victory, and it is not necessary that those who are ahead at the beginning of the race win at the end. So instead of paying attention to the percentage of children, parents should also insist on making them good and successful people. Shri Awasthi said that you people should pay attention to sports as well as studies. Sports are very important for physical and mental development. He advised the students to read course books as well as other good books.
