Dhamtari: Development block wise meeting of Child Welfare Committee will be held from September 02

For proper care and protection of children affected by Covid 19 infection and registration in Bal Swaraj Portal

Dhamtari 01 September 2021: All the 239 children of the district who have been affected by Kovid 19 infection will be presented before the Child Welfare Committee for their proper care and protection. Collector Shri P.S.Elma while fixing the date of the meeting of Block-wise Child Welfare Committee has directed to present these affected children before the three members of the committee in these meetings. According to the information received, 89 children in Child Welfare Committee Dhamtari on September 2, 24 children in Integrated Child Development Project Nagari on September 4, 105 children in Integrated Child Development Project Kurud on September 6 and 21 children in Integrated Child Development Project Magarlod on September 13. will be presented. Along with this, the Collector has given instructions to register children affected by Kovid 19 infection in Bal Swaraj Portal from September 1 to 13. For this, Shri Rajiv Goswami has been made the nodal officer. The Collector has given clear instructions that by September 15, it should be ensured to make available the registration report on the portal to the District Program Officer, Women and Child Development.
It is worth mentioning that on Monday 23 August, member of National Commission for Protection of Child Rights Shri Yashwant Jain had taken a meeting of Women and Child Development, Education Department and Child Welfare Committee. Within the next 15 days, making a planned program according to the list of 239 such children, who are being benefited by the Mahtari Dular Yojna by the School Education Department, he directed to take the members of the Child Welfare Committee in all the development blocks and hold a meeting. He also directed to call the identified children of the concerned development block in these meetings, so that the data of these children could be entered on the Bal Swaraj Portal. To ensure proper care and protection of these children. In the same line, from September 02, the development block-wise meeting of the Child Welfare Committee will be held.
