Union Minister of State for Tourism will also be involved with video conferencing
Dongargarh will get a new identity as a religious tourist place

On March 2, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will perform bhoomi pujan for about Rs 40 crore 33 lakh for the development of tourism facilities under 'Prasad' scheme Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Heritage Augmentation Drive in Dongargarh. Union Minister of State for Tourism, Shri Prahlada Patel will participate in the program through video conferencing. Tourism Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Minister in charge of Forest and Rajnandgaon Mr. Mohammad Akbar, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Chintamani Maharaj and Mr. Vikas Upadhyay and Additional Director General of Tourism Ministry Mrs. Rupinder Brar will also attend the program.
Under the 'Prasad' scheme of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, 31 sites across the country have been selected for the development of tourism facilities, of which Dongargarh is also one. Under the project, tourism facilities will be developed on the hill of Maa Bamleshwari Devi Temple and Pragya Giri Hill in Dongargarh. Also, the Pilgrim Facilitation Center will be built on nine and a half acres of land here. This building to be built in the shape of Sriyantra will be a special attraction of the entire project. The Pilgrim Facilitation Center will have Meditation Center, Rest Room, Prasad Room, Cultural Forum, Clock Room, Satsang Room, Exhibition Gallery, Toilet, Drinking Water, Landscaping, Solar Light and Parking lot etc. Along with this, renovation of the stairs, railings, sheds, drinking water facilities, pagodas, solar lights, parking, CCTV, beautification of the pond, bio-toilets, medical rooms and signage will be installed on the hill of Maa Bamleshwari Devi Temple. Meditation center, cafeteria, parking, renovation of stairs, solar light, drinking water and signage will also be provided on the Pragya Giri hill. With the development and beautification of tourism facilities in Dongargarh, it will be established as an important religious place on the tourism map of the country.
