Raipur, 26 July 2021: It is the dream of every parent that their children get a good degree by reading and writing and can stand on their feet by joining a good job or employment. Neelima's parents also had a similar dream. With her daughter pursuing her engineering studies, she hoped to land a job within a few days of getting her degree. Neelima too had the same belief. When she got an engineering degree in her hands and did not get any job for years, not only her parents, but Neelima's dream was shattered. After being unemployed for many years, when Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel implemented the e-category registration system to connect the youth with employment and ensure their participation in development works, the hopes of Neelima got feathered. With the initiative of the MLA of her area and Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria, Kumari Neelima Sahu, a graduate in engineering, has got the task of constructing a pucca road under Mukhyamantri Sugam Sadak Yojna.
Neelima, who lives in Arang of Raipur district, told that in the year 2012, she got her B.E. After completing her degree, she was constantly looking for a job. After doing engineering, he used to think that somewhere he would definitely get a job. He told that even after having a degree, due to no source of employment and income, there was worry along with sadness. Meanwhile, along with looking for a job, she also kept preparing for competitive exams. Neelima informed that when Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel announced that unemployed youths of the state who have completed their graduation from 12th pass would be given work in construction works, he too had the hope of getting work. He told that after registering his name in the e-category registration started for unemployed youth, it was expected that he would get a chance to work in his area.
MLA of Arang region and state minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahriya gave priority to Neelima in the development works being done in her area, giving work worth Rs 12.52 lakh. Under the Chief Minister's Sugam Sadak Yojana, Neelima got the responsibility of constructing the road from the Government School building to the main road in village Rasni of Arang development block. Expressing happiness on getting work and joining employment for the first time after completing her studies, Neelima met Minister Dr. Dahria and expressed her gratitude to him and Chief Minister Mr. Baghel. Engineer Neelima says that it is a matter of pride for me that I am going to give my participation in the development works around my house. This will also benefit me financially. All this has been possible because of the Chief Minister of the state and the Minister of Urban Administration and Development and Labor, Dr. Dahria.
It is worth mentioning that to provide employment opportunities to unemployed youth in construction works in the state, e-registration system has been started to give work up to 20 lakhs at the block level. For this, the qualification has been kept graduation in non-scheduled area and 12th pass in scheduled area.
