President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, unveiled a portrait of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at Rashtrapati Bhavan today (January 23, 2021). The unveiling was to mark the beginning of a year-long celebrations to commemorate 125th Birth Anniversary Year of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan today paid floral tribute to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary in the residence hall.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Chouhan also remembered the Azad Hind Fauj formed by the leader Subhash Chandra Bose to free the country from the British.

His role in making the country independent will always be remembered.

It is noteworthy that the Government of India has decided to celebrate Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's birth anniversary every year as a day of valor.
