Jaipur, 7 May 2021. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that the infection of Corona is spreading very fast even in rural areas and youth. The death rate is also much higher than the first wave. Experts are anticipating a third wave. In view of this, the Medical and Health Department should do master planning for the availability of beds, oxygen and other resources up to CHC and PHC level. This will enable people to get treatment locally.

Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot has said that ex-servicemen should carry the corona awareness message to the villages and hamlets across the state and should inspire the public to adopt all measures to prevent spread of infection. “Prevention is the only way out. Hence it is responsibility of all of us to not to be careless and following all prescribed health protocols,” he said.

Jaipur, 12 June 2020. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has written a letter to the Central Government demanding that the Prime Minister Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana announced by the Government of India be further extended for the next three months. Shri Gehlot has also demanded allocation of wheat and gram free of cost for two months to 14,44,982 members of 3,57,258 helpless families who were deprived of food security scheme in the state.

The state government has decided to start examinations of various universities, their affiliated colleges, technical universities and polytechnic colleges in the second week of July, postponed for some time due to the Kovid-19 epidemic. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has instructed the officials of Higher Education and Technical Education Department to make proper arrangements for this. The concerned universities and technical universities will release a detailed schedule of the dates of these exams.
