Jagdalpur: Proceedings for making Ayushman card till 31 March

Under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and Dr. Khubchand Health Assistance Scheme, the Ayushman Abhiyan is being implemented by the Central Government and the State Government from March 1 to March 31 for the benefit of maximum beneficiaries. As per the direction of the government, all the ration cards will be given free of cost to the family of Ayushman in the choice centers of the district. In which the families of ration card holders with priority and Antyodaya will get five lakh rupees per year and other ration card holders up to 50 thousand medical facilities are provided in any registered private and government hospital of the state.
    Joint Director Health Services Dr. Vivek Joshi informed that the Ayushman Abhiyan has been launched by the government for the purpose of making Ayushman cards of 100 percent eligible families. In which, free cards of Ayushman will be given to the beneficiaries in all the Choice Centers of the division. To make Ayushman card, citizens have to go to the choice centers along with ration card for family identification and Aadhaar card and mobile number for personal identification. The Ayushman card will be made free to the beneficiaries by the Choice Center, based on their eligibility. During the campaign, the Ayushman card will be provided to the beneficiaries in the paper at the first choice centers, a few days later the plastic cards of these beneficiaries will be sent to the respective Choice Center from the Central Office of the Choice Center. The beneficiaries will be informed about receiving the card by the Choice Center. Beneficiaries will be able to get PwC Ayushman card after fingerprint test again from Choice Center.
