Government Focus around Samata and Chaubey Colony where Chhattisgarh's First Corona Case Detected

Instructions to ensure every necessary arrangement to prevent infection of Corona virus in Samata and Chaubey Colony
    Raipur, 19 March 2020 Every effort is being made by the state government to control the infection of corona virus (Kovid-19) in the state. It is noteworthy that outbreak of Corona virus (Kovid-19) is increasing rapidly in the country. Presently a person infected with Corona virus has been found in Raipur, which belongs to Samta Colony Raipur area. Keeping in view the said case, the departmental officers concerned have been directed by the Social Welfare Department to take necessary action for prevention and control of infection from voluntary organizations and governmental organizations of Samta Colony, Chaube Colony and other related areas.

At the same time, the Secretary Social Welfare Department has instructed the district officials of all the concerned institutions, especially by visiting the centers of Chaube Colony, Samta Colony, to ensure that all necessary arrangements have been made to prevent the spread of infection in the said institutions.

Instructions have also been given to apprise its inquiry report daily through the Directorate of Social Welfare Department. Today, a letter to this effect has been issued to the Director, Social Welfare Directorate, Commissioner Raipur Division, District Collector Raipur and Joint Director, District Office, Social Welfare Raipur, by the Ministry of Social Welfare at Mahanadi Bhawan.
