Shri Gehlot was reviewing the current status of corona infection through VC on Monday. He said that decisions like night curfew in the urban area at eight district headquarters of the state and closing of the market after 7 pm, gathering more than 100 people in the marriage ceremony and raising the penalty for not putting on masks are necessary to protect life.
Keep campaigning limited with the cradle of health protocol
The Chief Minister said that the State Government is aware that due to increase in infection in the state, during the festive season, the crowds in the markets, the increasing cold, the presence of large number of people in the matrimonial programs along with the urban bodies and panchayats Social distancing is not a cradle in the election campaign. He said that due to judicial compulsions and constitutional provisions, the government conducted body and panchayat elections. Despite strict instructions from the state government and the State Election Commission, proper enforcement of masking and distancing protocols could not be done during campaigning. He has appealed to the candidates of the currently running Panchayat Raj Election and all political parties to compulsorily follow the Health Protocol, so that the ideal can be presented to the common man.
All patients receive equal treatment
The Chief Minister said that all Corona patients should be treated equally keeping in view the severity of infection. It is the moral responsibility of hospital administration and on-duty doctors and other health workers to treat all admitted, day-care and OPD patients equally and treat them according to the severity of the disease.
Keep up for the upcoming vaccine
During the VC, the Chief Minister directed to keep complete preparations for the corona vaccine in the state from now. He directed to ensure advance preparation of points for storage, cold chain, requirement, arrangement of distribution and priority order etc. for the vaccine. He said that since medical personnel are the most front-line warriors, they should be placed at the top of the vaccine priority.
Getting public support in the cradle of night curfew
Government Secretary Medical and Health Mr. Siddharth Mahajan informed that at eight district headquarters, the Collector and SP have made sure to go to the markets and ensure night curfew and to close the market after seven in the evening. He said that the expected cooperation of traders and common people is being received in compliance of the guidelines of the state government. 40 private hospitals will add 1850 additional beds
Mr. Mahajan said that after the instructions of the Chief Minister, in two days, in about 40 private hospitals in various districts of the state, a commitment has been made to increase 1850 additional beds for the treatment of Kovid patients. So far, 41 lakh 79 thousand corona tests have been done in the state. Oxygen facilities have been strengthened in hospitals in all 33 districts. There is no lack of oxygen in any hospital.
Principal of SMS Medical College, Dr. Sudhir Bhandari said that arrangements have been made to get the proforma filled by the medical personnel on duty while being admitted from the corona patients. This will ensure that the doctor attends every corona patient. He said that it has been observed that 80 per cent of the patients with symptoms delay the hospital by 7 to 12 days, this increases the health risk and also takes a longer time for treatment.
