Raipur, 22 May 2020 Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had instructed to simplify the process of development of residential colonies in the state. Under which a single window system to accelerate and facilitate the approval of the residential colony by the Department of Housing and Environment, 'CG AWAS' has been developed. CGAWAS is abreviation of C.G. Automated Work Flow and Approval System Software
With the single window system, all permission will now be completed within 100 days. If the colonizer-applicant does not integrate the measles under the arrangement of the land owned by him, then additional time of 40 days will be given for measles integration. Under this process, the applicant will no longer be required to visit any office repeatedly. Where previously it used to take one and a half to two years to get permission for development of residential colony, now its deadline has been fixed and applicants will get the development license within 100 days. Under this, permission for permission for land diversion certificate, approved layout, colony development will be obtained through all single window. Applicant on portal and SMS Information about the status of the application will be received from time to time. With this system, there will be no reorientation of the process, while the accountability of the officials will also be ensured. There will be transparency in the process and new technology will save time.
From 21 May 2020, all the departments concerned with CG AWAS process will not take any application related to the permission of residential colony in their office under CG Awas. Now in these departments The application has to be submitted only through the CG AWAS. Under this, now the application for the development of the colony from any place of Chhattisgarh through the Service Plus Portal can be done by CG AWAS.
CG Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had instructed to implement a single window system to simplify the process of colony development in the state and for this the Housing and Environment Department was made the nodal department to make the process of these permissions transparent and simplified which resulted in form of CGAWAS.
After the instructions of the Chief Minister, the government constituted a committee and after studying the current system, suggestions were given for developing a corrective system. Based on the suggestion of the committee, the NIC by the Department of Housing and Environment Software was created through. CG AWAS (C.G. Automated Work Flow and Approval System) software for inauguration of single window system was inaugurated by Chief Minister Baghel on 25 November. Thereafter, for the smooth functioning of the single window system, the desired amendments in the Act-Rules have been amended and incorporated into it by the concerned departments.
Additional District Magistrate of each district has been appointed as CG AWAS Nodal Officer for the systematic operation of single window system by the Government of Chhattisgarh. Each application will be forwarded to the respective departments through ADM for advance action and on obtaining approval from the concerned departments, final approval of the permissions of all departments will be granted through the ADM itself. The applications received under the above processes by the concerned collector of the district will be reviewed in the meeting of the deadline to be held every week in the district.
