International Tiger Day organized on 29th July at Kanan Pendari Zoo Bilaspur
Raipur, 28 July 2021: International Tiger Day will be organized on 29 July at Kanan Pendari Zoological Garden Bilaspur in the state. Under the guidance of Forest Divisional Officer Bilaspur Kumar Nishant told that Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) P.V. Narsing Rao and Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) Bilaspur S. Jagdishan, a program of quiz has also been organized in Kanan Pendari Zoo on this occasion. Tourists visiting here can participate in the program.
During the program, the participants will also be given a consolation prize from the Forest Board for answering the interesting questions related to the national animal tiger correctly. It is worth noting that a total of 625 wild animals of 66 species have been kept in Kanan Pendari Zoo, which includes 386 wild animals of 33 mammalian species, 76 wild animals of 12 reptile species and 163 birds of 20 bird species. Tourists can visit the zoo by paying the prescribed fee. Various types of entertainment places and hammocks etc. have been constructed in the zoo for the entertainment of children.
