Jaipur, 3 March. The Minister of Autonomous Governance, Shanti Kumar Dhariwal, assured the Assembly on Wednesday that if any complaints of quality deterioration or irregularity in the work of the sewerage line in the Municipal Council area of ​​Barmer will be definitely investigated.
Shri Dhariwal was responding to the supplementary questions asked in this regard by the MLAs during the Question Hour. He said that out of total 40 wards in Barmer Municipal Council area, the work of laying sewer lines in 25 wards has been completed in the year 2019 itself. This work was started simultaneously in the year 2012 in 28 wards.

The autonomous government minister informed that a 75-km sewer line will be laid for the remaining 15 wards. In addition to increasing the capacity of the already built 10 MLD STP, new STP of 4.80 MLD will also be constructed. He said that a provision of Rs 100 crore is being made from Asian Bank for this work through RUIDP.

The Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Dr. CP Joshi, intervened in this regard and instructed that the issue raised by any member in the House would be brought to the notice of the concerned Minister by the Department, so that the time taken in the House about the action taken in this matter To be given information on.
Earlier, in a written reply to the original question of MLA Shri Mewaram Jain, Shri Dhariwal said that the work of pouring sewerage line in various wards of Municipal Council area, Badmer, has been completed after spending Rs. 30 crore 93 lakh. He said that the work has been done in the quality according to the specifications of the contract. No complaint has been received in the department regarding irregularities.

He informed that efforts are being made to approve sewerage line Ruidp, Phase II of the second phase in the deprived wards. Shri Dhariwal said that after the approval from Government of India, Government of Rajasthan and Asian Development Bank, it will be possible to perform the above work.
