District Collector's appeal to the common citizens - out of the house on Sunday only when it is necessary
Jaipur, 24 Sept. 2021: The district administration is working on a mission mode for the successful and smooth conduct of the REET exam. On the initiative of District Collector Antar Singh Nehra, the office bearers of trade unions have announced a voluntary bandh in Jaipur on 26 September (Sunday) in view of the REET examination. So that REET examinees do not have to face any kind of problem and the traffic and law and order situation in Jaipur city should not be disturbed. Essential services including food and medicine shops have been exempted from this bandh. The District Collector has also appealed to the common citizens of the city to come out of the house only when it is absolutely necessary during the REET exam on 26th September. Do not leave the house unnecessarily that day.
Shri Nehra was addressing the meeting of the trade union office bearers in the District Collectorate Auditorium on Wednesday. Shri Nehra has appealed to the presidents of the trade unions present to observe a voluntary shutdown on 26th September and also to make arrangements for food packets, drinking water etc. for the candidates coming from different districts. On which the office bearers of all the trade unions agreed.
Shri Nehra informed that on September 26, 6 thousand policemen will handle the traffic system in Jaipur city, Jaipur district has been divided into 24 clusters from the point of view of management of REET examination. Arrangements at all accessible toilets will be kept up to date. He informed that the concerned SDM and Tehsildar would be present at every REIT bus stand. Effective management will be done by proper utilization of resources. It is worth mentioning that about 2.50 lakh candidates will appear for the REET exam in Jaipur at a total of 592 exam centers. Out of these, a total of 458 centers have been set up in Jaipur city and 134 examination centers have been set up in rural areas.
Jaipur city divided into 24 clusters, 05 temporary REIT bus stand outside Surajpol Mandi Transport Nagar Delhi Road, Roadways Bus Stand before Tunnel on Agra Road, Taron Ki Koont Tonk Road, Badarwas Narayan Vihar Tiraha Ajmer Road and Vidyadhar Nagar Stadium on Sikar Road have been made, from where roadways and private buses will operate. This bus stand will operate from 25 September to 27 September. Along with this, help desk will also be arranged at all REIT bus stands. Along with this, a medical team will also be formed at the temporary REIT bus stand. Additional District Collector (North) Mr. Birbal Singh, Additional District Collector (East) Mr. Rajiv Kumar Pandey, President of Jaipur Trade Federation Mr. Subhash Goyal, President of Rajpark Vyapar Mandal Mr. Ravi Nayar, Hawa Mahal Bazar Vyapar Mandal, Jagannathpuri Vyapar Mandal attended the meeting. Presidents of various trade boards including Sanjay Bazar Trade Board, Haji Colony Textile Trade Association were present.
