As Miss Fort Wayne’s OT, I want to use my platform to speak for my Burmese people.
Right now in Myanmar, innocent civilians are being killed by the Military Coup. Children as young as 1 and elders alike are being robbed their human rights. 54 million people are fearing for their lives, hundreds and hundreds have been beaten, raped, and killed. Instead of learning how to read or how to write, the children in Myanmar are learning how to fight and how to hide.
There may not be many ways to physically give, but when we raise our voices we pay tribute to those fighting for freedom, fighting to ensure a better future for their children, OUR children.

Today, I crown the new Miss Indiana Teen USA. This day is so bittersweet, and I’m so thankful to have had the opportunity to represent Indiana. Although this chapter of my life is closing, I’m so excited for what the future holds, and for every opportunity that comes next. I am forever grateful for my family, director, sponsors, friends, and others that have supported me every step of the way. I love you all so much. Time really does fly, but I will cherish these memories I’ve made for the rest of my life. Forever your Miss Indiana Teen USA 2021.
