Instructions to speed up testing, contact tracing and vaccination

In order to stop the increasing infection of Corona in the last two days in Korba district, Collector Smt. Ranu Sahu held extensive discussions with the officials in the weekly meeting of the deadline today. The strategy of rapid vaccination along with testing, contact tracing will be implemented to stop the pace of corona infection in the district. The administration will also have a special focus on proper treatment of corona infected people and adherence to the Kovid protocol. Testing will be increased for early identification of corona infected in the district. Contact tracing of positive cases will be intensified and a strategy for prevention of infection has been decided in the district by getting more and more people vaccinated against them. Collector Mrs. Ranu Sahu, in the weekly meeting of the deadline, kept the control of Corona in focus and gave necessary instructions to the officers. He also instructed the officers to strictly follow all the prohibitory orders and instructions applicable in the district for the prevention of infection. The Collector reviewed the efforts and actions taken to break the chain of corona infection in the weekly meeting of the deadline today. In this meeting, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Mr. Nutan Kanwar, Municipal Commissioner Mr. Kuldeep Sharma and in-charge ADM Mr. Sunil Nayak, SDMs and district level officers of all the sections were also present.
Other subjects were also discussed in the meeting, the Collector gave necessary instructions - In the weekly meeting of the deadline, Collector Mrs. Ranu Sahu also reviewed the government schemes and programs run by various departments. He gave instructions to the concerned officers to settle the pending cases of land acquisition compensation, Divyangjan Sahayata Pension Yojana and PM Awas cases on priority basis within the time limit. The Collector also directed the Social Welfare Department to coordinate with the Health Department officials and doctors to prepare disability certificates for the differently-abled, so that the beneficiaries do not face any kind of inconvenience to take advantage of the government schemes. Mrs. Sahu instructed the Chief Executive Officers of Janpad Panchayats to prepare an action plan for setting up rural industries in villages including Gauthans to increase self-employment opportunities in rural areas. Collector Mrs. Sahu said that self-help groups of rural areas should be encouraged for livelihood based activities like poultry, goat rearing. During the review meeting, instructions were also given to the District Education Officer to repair and paint the government schools of the district. He directed to encourage the students to set up kitchen gardens in the school and hostel premises so that the children of the concerned institutions could get nutritious vegetables at the local level.
