Raipur, 13 May 2021 The condition of corona infection is continuously improving after 01 May 2021 in Chhattisgarh. Since then, while new cases are decreasing every day, the infection rate is also continuously decreasing. In these 12 days, the positivity rate has come down from 26.1 to 14 percent.

 With the increasing availability of all types of beds and oxygen in hospitals, the number of deaths per day is also decreasing. Meanwhile, there has been an increase in test and vaccination. The state has set a new record in the tests being done every day. On 12 May, tests were conducted from 71 thousand 138 in a single day.

      In Chhattisgarh on May 1, where 15 thousand 905 new cases of corona infection were reported, 10 thousand 150 new cases were registered on May 12. Similarly, where the figure of daily death was 229 on 01 May, 153 people died on 12 May. Till 12 days ago, where empty beds were not available in the hospitals of the state, yesterday, on May 12, 318 ventilator beds, 852 ICU. Bed, 750 H.U.U. Beds, 6364 oxygen beds and 11,883 other beds were available. There has been no shortage of oxygen in the state since its inception. Due to the expansion in the facilities, the number of probes of potential corona infected is increased every day. On May 12, the state has set a new record by examining 71 thousand 138 people.

     Meanwhile, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has launched CG-Tika web portal in the state on May 12 to conduct the vaccination campaign in a systematic manner. With the introduction of this portal, people including poor, destitute and Antyodaya will also be able to register themselves, who do not have mobile or internet facility. Rapid antigen test facility has been started in 13 municipal corporations of the state from May 13 to 24 hours seven days a week. A new virology lab has been started in Baikunthpur as part of the expansion of samples to RTPCR testing facilities. Including this lab, RTPCR test facility has been made available in ten government labs of the state. With the increase in the number of inquiries every day, the investigation report will also be started soon.
