Madhya Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority Using Video Conferencing Technology for Hearing

Video conferencing will now be heard in RERA authority
Days fixed for hearing cases of Indore, Gwalior and Jabalpur
The cases related to Bhopal will be heard in the Authority along with the criteria of social distancing.
 
Bhopal: Wednesday, May 20, 2020, The Madhya Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) is hearing the complaints of allottees in the wake of Corona epidemic from the month of June through video conferencing and online system. For this, the days of hearing have been fixed through video conferencing of cases of Indore, Gwalior and Jabalpur divisions. Along with this, pending cases related to Bhopal will be heard in the authority office by adopting social distancing throughout the week.

Days of hearing in Indore, Gwalior and Jabalpur divisions

The Authority will hear the cases of Indore division on Thursday and Friday in the afternoon. Every Wednesday the cases of Gwalior and Jabalpur divisions will be heard in turn. Parties may attend the hearing from their residence via mobile or laptop. As a party option of Indore, you can also avail the facility of computer available at the local office of RERA at Indore.

It is noteworthy that 2612 projects and 677 agents have been registered in the Authority so far. Testing of online applications received during the lockdown period is in progress. Out of about 4300 complaints received so far, 3200 have been resolved. The RERA Authority is a constitutional body formed under the RERA Act to control and encourage the real estate sector in the state, where on the one hand, the problems related to the housing of the allottees are resolved, while the existing and new residential and commercial projects in the state Registration and monitoring is also done.
