Chief Minister put masked DP on his social media platforms for public awareness

Raipur, 13 April 2020 - Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has taken the initiative to make people aware by installing masked DPs on all their social media platforms after the need for masks in Chhattisgarh. So far, more than 17 thousand people have liked it on Facebook.

Mr. Baghel has said in his tweet message with this DP that in Chhattisgarh state it is mandatory for every person to wear a mask while venturing out of the house in public places. According to the advice of medical experts, wearing a mask face cover is necessary for prevention and prevention of Covid-19.

It is noteworthy that every person in the state of Chhattisgarh has now been made mandatory to wear masks while going out of the house in public places. The order to this effect has been issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Department of the state government on the 11th of this month from Mahanadi Bhavan. Every person is required to wear a mask-face cover for prevention and prevention of Covid-19 by medical experts.

It has been made mandatory under the Epidemic Act 1897 and Chhattisgarh Epidemic DCs Covid-19 Regulations 2020 and Section 71 (1) of the Chhattisgarh Public Health Act 1949. Going out of the house to public places without mask-face cover is considered a violation and legal action will be taken accordingly.
The order states that the triple layer mask found in the market can be used or a home made three-layer face cover can be made. This home made mask-face cover can be washed and reused with soap. In case the mask and face cover are not available, hotpot, handkerchief, tupatta etc. can also be used as face cover. Provided the mask-face cover is able to completely cover the mouth and nose. Never used face cover mouth, nose cover, etc., must not be cleaned thoroughly with soap without reuse.
