Development work in Ram Vanagaman tourism circuit Chandkhuri is almost near completion
Raipur, 9 June 2021 Under the ambitious project Ram Vanagaman Tourism Circuit Development of Chhattisgarh Government, development work and beautification work in Mata Kaushalya temple area in village Chandkhuri of Raipur district is almost near completion. Tourism Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu has been observing the development works from time to time and has been instructing the concerned construction agency and departmental officers to do continuous monitoring.
Keeping the original form of the ancient Kaushalya temple of Lord Rama's maternal grandmother Chandkhuri, the work of beautification of the entire complex is being done. This entire work is being done at Chandkhuri, which is included in the Ram Vanagaman Tourism Circuit Development Project, at a cost of Rs.
Chandkhuri is to be developed as a tourism-pilgrimage, so along with the beautification of the ancient Kaushalya Mata temple located there, civic amenities are also being developed.
While beautifying the pond, the temple-island situated in the middle of the pond is being made more attractive and organized.
The architecture of the entire complex has been designed according to Chandkhuri's relation to mythology. A new design bridge is being prepared across the pond to reach the Talab Mandir.
A circumambulation path is being constructed in and around the ghats in the pond. Parking facility is also being developed for the vehicles of the visitors.
DPR has been prepared for the implementation of grand light, sound and laser show on Ramayana era theme with attractive electrical furnishings in this entire complex.
