Sat, May 13, 2023 Hollywood: The Reigning Queen Silvia Celeste Rabimbi Cortesi aka Celeste Cortesi Miss Universe Philippines 2022 has just crowned her successor, the winner against 37 Contestants, Makati's Michelle Daniela Dee as Miss Universe Philippines 2023 at the end of Grand Finale in SM Mall of Asia Arena, Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines today on Saturday, May 13th, 2023 at LIVE Broadcaster @ ABS-CBN TV.

Newly Crowned Michelle Daniela Dee Miss Universe Philippines 2023, will represent her nation Philippines with national flag at the upcoming 72ND Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador where the reigning Miss Universe 2022, R'Bonney Gabriel will crown her successor at the end of Grand Finale. She is the 6th entry to class of Miss Universe 2023 and The First Filipino in the era of Dr. Anne JKN.

Final question asked was "which invention from the last century she would love to make a comeback." The Winning Answer given by Michelle Daniela Dee is "It would probably be polaroid films. I'm an avid lover of art. I love photography and I love the kind of energy and feel that polaroids give me; just being able to lay everything out and go down memory lane is such a different feeling. Polaroids give me such a vibrant and positive energy."

Michelle Daniela Marquez Dee, (ˈmɪshɛl ˈdɐnɪɛlɐ ˈmaɾkɛs dɪ); born Monday April 24, 1995, is a Filipino actress, model, host, and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2023.

She previously won Miss World Philippines 2019. She represented the Philippines at the Miss World 2019 pageant in London, England and finished as a Top 12 semifinalist.

Many of you don’t know what I do when i’m not in front of the camera but last year was a year of adversity, triumph, and self-discovery. With the birth of new companies and the trust for new responsibilities, all I can scream to the universe is Thank You.

Thank you to my mentors, my partners, and especially to my staff who collectively are the reason why I was able to receive this @rising_tigers #PeopleToWatch award. Success is never measured by the efforts of one person but it’s the desire to lift everyone up to their highest potential that makes everything so much more worthwhile.

The National Costume “GINTONG ANI” by @barassimichael

The reason I chose to honor our Filipino farmers with my national costume is because in my eyes, they embody these 3 things: Dedication. Resilience. Hard work. These are the three things that I've grown to hold on to as I go through my pageant journey and even through life.

This national costume is a symbol of the "warrior queen" within me that has been present since my first run in pageantry & with a full heart my collaboration with Michael Barassi and the rest of my team was received positively.

People ask me why I do this time and time again. My answer is simple: Purpose and Passion — And for each year that I've joined I come with a burning passion to raise awareness for the advocacies I champion and with a purpose, to use myself and my voice for the greater good of our fellow kababayans. @autismphils

Every time I step on a stage, I am aware that I am not only doing this for myself, but i’m doing this for every Filipino who has ever had a dream they're fighting to achieve. This is why every time, I give my all because I know that what I am doing is so much bigger than myself and to be given the chance to shed light on these advocacies and beliefs is truly the prize in this whole journey.

The national costume competition is only the beginning to the most crucial days ahead of the pageant. For the next few days, just like our Filipino farmers, I plan to stay focused on what matters: to reap what I sow, never just for myself but for the advocacies and organizations that have my heart and soul.

Sat, May 13, 2023: Today, the sun will set on my reign as your Miss Universe Philippines, and it will rise on a new queen who will continue to show the world the beauty of The Philippines and its people. I will be forever grateful for the opportunity to represent the Philippines to the world. 
My reign as a queen might have ended, but conquering greater heights is just about to begin. As I embark on a new chapter of my life, I am looking forward to all the new opportunities to be more fearless, kind, and loving towards myself and those whom I will encounter. I am excited for what the world has to offer, and I hope that you will continue to journey with me as I continue to discover myself and what I can contribute to the world.

Thu, May 11, 2023: We are a few days away from crowning the next Miss Universe Philippines. I can’t help but to reminisce the entire journey that contributed to who I am today. From all the struggles and hardships to the overwhelming support of everyone which I am very thankful for, and of course the once in a lifetime opportunity to represent the Philippines in an international stage. 
I have always seen my journey as a beauty queen similar to the transformation of a butterfly. Like the butterfly’s metamorphosis, this entire experience has led me towards self-discovery and empowerment. 
This butterfly is ready to spread her wings and to take flight to greater heights.

Tue, May 2, 2023: A few days late but… happy crowniversary 
To one year of carrying the crown with strength, dignity, and grace. 
Thankful for the people that have been with me and supported me unconditionally.
