Bemetara: New ration cards will be made for migrant people and workers of the state

Directorate of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection of the state has issued a letter to all collectors of the state in the past, directing them to issue new ration cards of migrant persons and workers of the state.

      Raipur, 27 June 2020 On the initiative of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, so far 5 lakh 34 thousand migrant laborers and others have returned safely to Chhattisgarh through labor special trains, buses and other means. Among them, more than one lakh 50 thousand laborers reached Chhattisgarh by means of 103 workers special trains.

Migrant Laborers Quarantine with Gardening in Higher Secondary School Kotgaon in Gundardehi

    Raipur 03 June 2020 Migrant workers staying at the Quarantine Center for protection from Corona are doing gardening, sanitation work with social distancing. This makes the building complex green and clean with the use of their time.

Migrant workers staying in the quarantine center built in the Higher Secondary School building of village Kotgaon in Gundardehi development block in Balod district have regularly cleaned the school premises by cleaning and irrigating the plants.

Raipur, 25 May 2020 Officials and members of Gurdwara Hirapur Tatibandh Committee met Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today at his residence premises under the leadership of MLA Vikas Upadhyay.

The Chief Minister appreciated the service work being done by the members of the Gurdwara Committee for the migrant workers coming from other states to Raipur during the Corona crisis, and thanked them for these works of humanity.

3060 Shramik Special Trains & 3.1 Lakh Passengers in India: Back Home Service to Migrants & Stranded Persons

Indian Railways operationalises 3060 “Shramik Special” trains till 25th May, 2020 (till 10:00 hrs) across the country and transports more than 40 lacs passengers to their home states through “Shramik Special” trains in 25 days.

The congestion witnessed in the Railway network on 23rd / 24th May, 2020 is over.

The congestion had occurred due to convergence of more than two third rail traffic on routes to Bihar and Uttar Pradesh and late clearance of the terminals due to health protocols etc that needed to be completed by State Authorities.

Home quarantine arrangements must be made tight, enforced cradle strictly - Chief Minister

Jaipur, 20 May 2020 Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that in the districts of the state where the number of migrants from outside is high, the quarantine arrangements should be strengthened and those coming from outside must be quarantined. Home quarantine should be vigorously maintained and those who violate it should be sent to institutional quarantine.
