Raipur, 1 August 2021:  Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has directed P.V. Sindhu on winning the bronze medal in the Badminton event of Tokyo Olympics 2020 today. The Chief Minister said that P.V. Sindhu has made the country proud with her achievement. PV Sindhu today gave the country its second medal in the Tokyo Olympics by performing brilliantly. Sindhu had earlier won a silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Higher Education Minister Umesh Patel Hoisted National Flag in Bilaspur

In Bilaspur district, on August 15, the 74th festival of independence was celebrated with great joy. The flag hoisting ceremony was held by the Minister of Higher Education, Sports and Youth Welfare in the main function held at Police Ground of Bilaspur District Headquarters.

At the ceremony, Patel read out the message of the Chief Minister to the people of the state.

    Raipur, 27 June 2020 Higher Education Minister Umesh Patel inspected the roads constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in Kharsia assembly constituency. Keeping in mind the convenience of the citizens, he directed the officials concerned to complete the road construction work from Chapale to Bamhanpali. Patel has asked to keep both the canals of the road under construction flat.
